Ventilation is more than adequate on the go but can get stuffy when at a standstill, that is just being picky though as they are motorcycle gloves and designed to protect, something that heavily vented mesh gloves would not do as readily.

This is my second piece of kit from Spada and yet again they have exceeded my expectations by creating another fantastic product.

If you are after a tough light weight summer glove which is packed full of protection, do not give these gloves a miss.

These gloves look and feel much better than some top of the range Spidi and Alpinestar gloves I was looking at. The sizing is great - large is large.

Highly recommended!!!

Knox Handroid Gloves - Review: fake leather fraying on gauntlet.

I told the rep real leather doesn't fray, she then said it wasn't leather. POOR QUALITY if the glove will fray because of its own velcro stray?!?!? I've had the gloves for 2-3months with no accidents with these gloves, I either wear them or they live in my helmet.

The rep told me this has happened before and that was it, no further help! When I payed good money for a glove I expect it to LAST longer than 2-3months, especially when it was the velcro on the glove wrecking the glove itself!

2011 Knox Biomech Hand Armour - Review: Hand Armour for the Everyday Rider

Knox Hand Armor, years in development and well worth the wait, during my time reviewing the BioMechs, they have seen plenty of miles, interesting variations in weather and wind and still look brand new and never letting me down once.

I dont really have any negative criticism for them, I went into this review biased, expecting them to be amazing due to internet hype (my own research into some new gloves) and well, they have been astounding. You cant beat the Styling of the Borg inspired Handroids, nothing on the market is equal (though Spyke's ST303's were very damn close) The BioMechs don’t have an Exo-skeleton like on their more race oriented cousing, the Handroid, but the Honeycomb knuckle protector is a style statement in its own right, functional and fun.

Knox has been hard at work taking into consideration many factors in protection and finesse and more importantly their customers. They keep getting the mix just right, the Hand Armor Range is proof of that. Retailing at £129.99, the BioMechs, they aren't cheap, there is no escaping how much things cost especially in this day and age.

The question I ask myself is If I wasn’t reviewing these gloves, would I sit and save up for the BioMechs or will I drop back and find something equally as stylish/protective as them, the answer being... I would save. Knox's reputation speaks for itself.

Held Titan Race Gloves - Review: The very best protection available - at a price

My Held Titan gloves took over from my previous Knox Handroids as my go-to riding pair simply because they exude quality, if anything having ridden for thousands of miles in them they are a touch baggier than I would normally choose but still incredibly well fitting.

The only downside really I can point out is the cost and even then you have to appreciate the quality and materials a little more to understand why, Held take hours to produce one pair of gloves rather than run of the mill, average stuff that takes minutes and this attention to detail bumps up the price.

For those looking for the ultimate in protection the cost shouldn't matter, racers and trackday enthusiasts will fall off and get straight back on with minimal damage and therein lies the Held secret with the Titan. Great design and high end materials couple to manufacture means you get a set of gloves that stand up to the toughest test you can throw at them - time and time again.

If I were buying them I would most likely look for a set in a lower price bracket first, most people will, but give them a good try on and compare them to other range topping gloves before you make your decision and see if, like me you can be converted.

I think im starting to become more and more attracted to white bike gear, and the fit is very forgiving with 'just the right' amount of wiggle. For 100 notes these gloves are spot on and will last a lifetime, I do hope in the future we get to see more of Spyke's wild side.

Although there are some cheaper ladies gloves out there I can say from experience you usually get what you pay for with this type of glove. The level of comfort these give when riding is well worth the tiny amount of extra money and I would pay it happily.

The only slight concern I have with these gloves is that although they have some padded rubber protection on knuckles and finger tips I wonder how much actual impact protection they would give you in a crash situation compared to some other gloves currently on the market, but for my intended use they are fine.

These are classed as all season gloves and for warmer weather the ventilation is adequate as long as it is not HOT. perfect for most UK weather conditions though

Whilst the cost of these gloves is not in the bargain bucket end of the market, comfort comes at a price and I think that these gloves are adequately priced if comfort is what you are looking for.

Other than being thinner than I would usually wear I found the Stella C1 Windstopper gloves to be useful in a range of conditions and comfortable to wear.

For anyone's money it is seriously worth a look if you can justify the high end price tag that goes with it.
