High quality aftermarket brake and clutch levers with oodles of adjustability that give you the chance to dial in your own personal hand span setting.
Huge Adjustment
Initial Thoughts
Seeing some of the prices of adjustable aftermarket levers I had always managed to avoid the need to try some and after having a set of Trak-Tech adjustable levers I am now wondering why! In the box you get a lovely lightweight lever with a simple dial adjustment and you can choose to order just one lever or both to suit your needs, having had aftermarket standard levers before I can say though that these are miles apart in quality and the Trak-tech's really do show their strengths.
Construction
According to the bumpf these are made from a high grade alloy and going on the weight I would guess the base is Aluminium, they are smooth and well designed in the hand and certainly feel tough enough for the task. The Trak Tech levers I chose were the full length rather than the stubby option, for me the full length still come up a little bit shorter than the standard levers and in case of a crash the levers have a snap zone to try and give you minimal damage to get you riding again.
Design wise they follow the same route as Pazzo levers but at less cost, the bearing adjustment all feels of high quality and having since seen a Pazzo lever I cannot tell without an indepth review if there are any real differences in use. The levers come in raw alloy colour but you can change the adjustment dial colour at extra cost should you wish to customise them, if you want a coloured lever you will have to stump up for a more expensive alternative brand though.
In use the dog leg angles of the lever really do work with the adjustment to help you get the right span adjustment, remember those cheap OEM levers never really getting into a position you like - well that is not the case here and the Trak-Tech levers offer a very comfortable riding position and on the fly adjustment should you need it. I only found one real criticism with the clutch adjustment in that there did not seem to be any real difference in adjusting the slack, what I would have hoped is that when you adjust the span it also deals with the cable slack but not the cable position - loosen it off too much and you have too much freeplay.
A brand new range of replacement factory race style levers Direct replacement, do not require any modification to the original bracket Machined from lightweight high grade alloy Fully adjustable, six reach settings Positive thumb trigger adjuster Fitted in minutes

If there were a few more colour options on the levers themselves the styling rating would be higher and only one small point I found on the clutch lever dropped a point so overall they get two thumbs up from me

Conclusion
For the price you will be astounded by how good these levers are made, the quality of the bearings and fitting. Put simply they are half the price of their rivals and in use do a very nice job.
